The Georgia Wake Series returns to the classic venue in Rome for Stop One of the 2017 season on Saturday May 20.
Coming in at 2,200 feet long, with premier viewing and turn islands at both ends, the Rome site is a rider's dream. Protected from the wind by the surrounding trees with a gently sloped shore, this pass provides premier conditions for all riders. It's no surprise that this lake is where Jeff Langley, a household name in pro wakeboarding, honed his trade. "Rome is a great tournament location. The conditions are always top notch," said Jeff, from his home in Orlando, "I'm excited that the Georgia Wake Series is having the first stop here and I'm sure the young rippers will be pumped when they see it!"
Bring your grill. Bring your cooler. But whatever you do, bring your board and be ready for Stop One. With tons of prizes on the line, big wakes and butter every pass, you do not want to miss out on the Georgia Wake Series at Rome on May 20, 2017.
